Middletown, RI (April 7, 2021) — At the recent 2021 National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Undersea Warfare Division (UWD) Spring Conference, Laurie Carter, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Rite-Solutions, was presented with the prestigious Captain George W. Ringenberg Award.

The Ringenberg Award is given annually at the spring conference to recognize an individual for their outstanding service, leadership, and noteworthy contributions to the Undersea Warfare Division.

“I am very honored to receive the Ringenberg award and am humbled by the greatness of the awardees before me,” reflects Carter. “This award solidifies my long career and involvement in supporting the Navy Undersea Warfare community. It has been a very enriching and inspirational experience to contribute to this community through the NDIA and have access to this talented group of Navy leaders.”

Ms. Carter has served on the NDIA UWD executive board as the Communications Committee Chair since 2014. In this role, she worked with UWD Committee Chairs and NDIA staff to coordinate, assemble, edit, and publish conference materials that provide the undersea warfare community the most relevant information related to undersea warfare technology.

“We are very proud of Laurie,” says Dennis McLaughlin, Rite-Solutions CEO and President. “She joins a group of highly-respected award recipients, including another Rite-Solutions employee who won the award in 2011. This award is well deserved and is a direct result of Laurie’s dedication to the Undersea Warfare community.”
