Rapid Product Development and Sustainment (RaPDS) Contract

The Rapid Product Development and Sustainment (RaPDS) Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract was awarded to Rite-Solutions in November 2017 by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Sea Warrior Program Office (PMW 240). Rite-Solutions was one of three recipients of a RaPDS contract. This contract has a ceiling of $300,000,000 with a 5-year base ordering period covering November 2017 to November 2022, along with three 1-year options that can extend the ordering period through November 2025. Individual Task Orders under this contract are competed among the three awardees.

SPAWAR PMW 240 and PMW 250, part of the Navy Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS), are the Information Technology (IT) acquisition agent for a complex portfolio of systems that enable the Navy to perform Human Resource and other non-tactical business operations ashore and afloat. Under this contract, Rite-Solutions will design, develop, modernize and sustain the PMW 240/250 portfolio of IT systems, supporting the Fleet as well as DoD and Navy Business System applications ranging from workforce development to administration and criminal justice.

Rite-Solutions provides sustainment support for the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Technology Portfolio Repository (DITPR) and Department of Navy (DON) Applications and Database Management System (DADMS). This Task Order, awarded by SPAWAR PMW 250 Enterprise and Business Systems on 1 December 2017, has a 5-year period of performance. Work is performed at Rite-Solutions facilities in Middletown, RI and Washington, DC.

The DITPR and DADMS systems support a variety of DoD and DON communities of interest by providing authoritative information for network, server, application, and databases, supporting capital planning and investment processes. Under this Task Order, Rite-Solutions, and our subcontractor Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems Services, provide software engineering services to sustain, maintain, and operate DITPR/DADMS, as well as implement annual improvement modifications.
