The Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) Class A appraisal, a framework that evaluates 18 software development process areas, was successfully completed on September 7, 2016. “Only a handful of small businesses make the investment to become CMMI Level 3 appraised,” said Michael Taylor, VP and Director of PMO. “This demonstrates Rite-Solutions’ continued commitment to our customers and dedication to providing software products developed in accordance with rigorous industry standards and best practices.”

Rite-Solutions provides software and systems development services to commercial, government, and Department of Defense (DoD) markets. The company is committed to continuously improving its software development practices by institutionalizing processes based on CMMI for Development V1.3 as established by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI). “We recognize the benefits of process maturity as it pertains to our business goals,” added Taylor. “We view CMMI Maturity Level 3 as a key business discriminator that drives customer satisfaction and business growth.” According to SEI, organizations achieving CMMI Maturity Level 3 status have documented performance improvements in cost, schedule, quality, customer satisfaction and return on investment.

The CMMI Maturity Level is appraised every three years in accordance with the SEI CMMI for Development V1.3. Rite-Solutions initially achieved CMMI Maturity Level 3 on September 11, 2013. This successful SCAMPI A appraisal extends our Level 3 Maturity Level through September 2019.
