Recently, at the 16th annual PBN Best Places to Work Awards program, Rite-Solutions won the large company category (150 – 499 employees). Companies were judged on progressive human resources policies and information collected through employee satisfaction surveys.

Being a great place to work is something that Rite-Solutions, who celebrated its 20th anniversary last year, set as a priority from the beginning.

“We started the company because we wanted to create a community where people genuinely enjoyed working with and supporting each other. We wanted a community where a meaningful relationship would engage employees more readily than a transactional relationship ever could,” says Jim Lavoie, Rite-Solutions co-founder.

Rite-Solutions has always been an employee-centric company. “We have always known that we are a great place to work,” adds Dennis McLaughlin, Rite-Solutions President, and CEO. “Our employees tell us that we’re a great place to work. New employees who have worked at other companies tell us the same thing. Even employees that left and returned tell us that!”

“But it’s gratifying to have that recognition in Rhode Island,” notes McLaughlin. “It’s especially gratifying after the past year. Our culture has kept us together, even though we have been physically apart.”
